WINTER SURCHARGE RIGA

Due to ice situation in the gulf of Riga the time spent for sailing in & out the Riga port has increased dramatically over the last weeks.

In reference to Containerships winter surcharge announcement on 04.11.2010, Containerships is in the obligation to apply a winter surcharge of EURO 50 per TEU for all import and export in and out Riga. The winter surcharge will apply as from 01.03.2011 (bill of lading date).

We apologise for this situation which is not under our control and shall keep you informed about the development of the situation in the port of Riga.
